단원구청과 보건소는 단원구 화랑로 260번지 대지면적 10,918㎡에 지어졌다. 단원구청 건물은 지하1층~지상6층, 단원구보건소는 지상1층~지상4층 규모로 서로 연결돼 있다. 건축규모 지하1층, 지상6층으로 업무시설(공공업무시설)과 구청사(6층), 보건소(4층), 보육시설(2층) 등의 공간으로 구성됬다. 그동안 단원구청 구청사로 인해 행정서비스 공간 부족, 시설물 노후화로 구민의 불편이 가중됐었으나, 신청사가 완공되어 공공청사 및 공공보건 의료기관이 신축돼 양질의 행정서비스를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

In the 260 Hwarang-ro, Danwon-Gu, Danwon-gu Office and Health Center was built in a land of 10,918㎡. The Office building is comprised of 6 storeys with a basement floor and the health center has 4 storeys with a basement floor, which both connects to each other. There is a childcare facility, a public health care center and a main office facility that serves the need of many people including the neighbors of the building. For a while, the old office building was in shortage of office spaces and the building was deteriorated after a long period of time, inciting many complaints and disappointments. However, with the new office equipped with public health care and office spaces, people will be able to be provided with a great quality of public services.
