주민의 여가생활 및 삶의질 향상을 위해 연천읍 옥산리에 108,656㎡에 건축면적 7,672㎡로 조성하는 연천문예체육회관은 문예회관 1개동과 체육회관 1개동을 각각 지하 1층 지상3층으로 건립하였다. 문예회관에는 606석 규모의 대공연장과 203석 규모의 소공연장, 연습실, 출연자 대기실, 음향조명설비실 등이 있으며 체육관에는 생활체육공간과 449석 규모의 관람석이 마련되어 각종 생활체육대회 개최는 물론 시민들의 생활스포츠 장소로 활용하고 있다.

For the enhancement of people’s living standards and leisure activities of the locals, the Yeoncheon Gymnasium was built in a site of 108,656㎡ and has a total floor area of 7,672㎡. The Culture Center and the Sports Center both have 3 storeys and a basement floor.In the Culture Center, the main performance hall has a total of 606 seats and the small performing art hall with 203 seats. A practice room, waiting room, sound and lighting facilities are all equipped in the center.In the Sports Center, the main stadium could accommodate 449 seats at once and therefore, many sports activities and tournaments could be held including everyday sports activities of the local people.
